The Wellbeing 1st Responder Trainer is able to demonstrate measurable improvements in organisational and individual levels of wellbeing through training and supporting employees in championing, advocating and responding to the wellbeing needs of their peers. Creation of this peer support structure empowers and enables people to alter their culture from the bottom up. Evidence shows that building a supportive community not only increases problem solving, decision making and creativity, but also co-operation – and therefore has a significant on improving business performance, as well as reducing the business costs associated with sickness absence, presenteeism and attrition.
To become an approved W1R trainer you must have the following:
- Evidence of training or teaching qualifications or significant experience in training or teaching adults
- A strong interest in psychology and neuroscience
- Facilitation skills, a non judgemental approach and a desire to be continuously learning.
